Overview CookPRN-Day ShiftPAM Rehabilitation Hospital of TulsaResponsibilities The Cook is responsible for:
Proper preparation of patient and cafeteria food service as required by local, state, and federal standards Adhering to sanitation policies as also required by local, state and federal standardsFollowing established standardized recipes for quality results and assuring that serving time deadlines are met consistentlyMenu plans; reviewing menus daily and communicating with other cooks regarding supplies and preparation of ingredientsAssisting with checking food deliveries and processing invoicesInspecting and assuring that all items are accounted for; signing invoices and submitting to Dietary OfficeAttending appropriate meetings with Director and DietitianAssisting in monitoring infection control and sanitation standards#LI-JR1 Qualifications The Cook must:
Have the ability to read and write in English, in order to follow recipes and plan menus Five years commercial food preparation is preferred but not requiredHigh School Education or GED is preferred, but not requiredPostAcuteMedical, LLC (PAM, LLC) is committed to being the most trusted source for post-acute services in every community it serves by utilizing experienced and dedicated staff to provide high quality patient care and customer service.
