About the Role

You will be responsible for processing advanced wire transactions for internal and external customers and ensuring client and departmental procedures are completed promptly. At times you will serve as the backup for the Wire Transfer Coordinator by coordinating workflow and performing quality assurance for compliance. In this fast-paced role, your awareness of fraud and risk will provide value to our client s needs.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will process more advanced/complex wire transactions for internal and external customers using the domestic wire transfer system. Complicated queues include NSF, callback, specify, confirm/notify, OFACIN/OFACOUT.
  • You will ensure all wires are processed on time and complete proper debiting and crediting of DDA and general ledger accounts in compliance with federal regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, as well as bank policy.
  • You will ensure all required customer agreements are in place according to Bank guidelines and resolve bank wire issues and inquiries. You may assist in setting up funds transfer agreements, including schedules/repetitive/sweep wires, internal authorization forms, and issue PIN numbers.
  • You will troubleshoot domestic wire transfer/ archive/automated fax systems, suspense general ledger reporting, customer profile set up, and ensure everything complies with external customer funds transfer agreement and audit requirements.
  • You will serve as a liaison between Bank technical personnel and third-party vendors or Federal Reserve when system upgrades, conversions occur.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate s Degree in Business and 2-3 years experience in wire transfer or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
