Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a 2nd shift Assembly Supervisor to join our Tulsa, Oklahoma manufacturing location.

Function Overview:

Each day you will have accountability for leading production in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for driving your team towards safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while upholding Whirlpool's values. You will also have the opportunity to coach and mentor peers and production workers.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key communications facilitator, trainer, coach, and counselor for production workers
  • Make appropriate work assignments among department personnel and monitor results
  • Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all equipment in the area of responsibility
  • Assure that quality and cost requirements are adhered to and that production requirements are met
  • Interface closely with internal process partners from a scheduling, parts availability and quality standpoint to assure a smooth flow of production
  • Complete administrative paperwork (various reports for safety, HR, payroll, attendance, vacation, etc.)
  • Engage in honest, open, and factual communications in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate and develop alignment with Whirlpool values and philosophies
  • Make computer entries (Kronos, SuccessFactors, Google Office Suite, SAP, etc.)

Basic
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1
    years of manufacturing experience

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) systems preferred
  • Evidence of continuous learning exhibited by continuing education and or job-related training
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Ability to understand, adhere to, and uphold Tulsa Operations policies and procedures
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts strongly desired
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete administrative tasks
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with respect for diversity
  • Ability and desire to move within the organization
  • Excellent computer skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
