Management Analyst

As a Management Analyst, you will:
Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to Housing programs and operations. Develop management plans, procedures, and methodology. Conduct complex and special studies for efficiency and productivity and recommends changes or improvements in work methods, and procedures. Analyze and evaluate Housing functions and activities being considered for conversion to contract operations. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include:
- Analyzing data extracted from centralized warehouses or like storage methodologies; AND - Identifying agency standards in developing data sets relating to mortgage insuring or servicing of single family mortgage loans; AND - Reviewing and utilization of agency management systems and assessing efficiencies of systems; AND - Assisting in analyzing controls of automated systems which may include:
gathering supporting documentation, or identifying and documenting weaknesses for management; AND - Developing procedures for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of administrative control systems that support the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Single Family programs. Time-in-Grade:
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.Time After Competitive Appointment:
Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
