Software Engineer 1
L-3 Aeromet is a Division of L-3 Intelligence Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sector and main office is located in Tulsa, OK. Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems.
Responsible for software development for Windows, and embedded (real-time) applications. Applications are primarily military avionics and mission systems.
Demonstrate technical competence, possess pride in ownership and a good work ethic.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change.

Preferred Experience includes:
Java, Microsoft Visual C /MFC/.NET.
High level of familiarity with software patterns and/or modern design methodology.
Software development primarily on Windows. VxWorks based platforms experience is a plus.
Familiarity with software lifecycle process.
Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred), if new grad, must have a minimum CGPA of 2.7.
Demonstrated successful completion of software development/maintenance classes.
C or C classes.
Window OS experience
Applicant must have a willingness to relocate to the Tulsa, OK area.
Applicant must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
