Our Tulsa office offers a unique work environment and specializes in Oil and Gas, Transmission and Transportation projects.
Your role will be to manage and conduct field work specifically related to bat surveys, and potentially related to waters of the US or other species-related projects. You should be able to be flexible with your schedule, travel when needed, and be willing to work long or random hours in order to successfully conduct surveys.
What you will accomplish:
Conduct biological evaluations and assessments in support of Endangered Species Act requirements, baseline studies, and monitoring of project sites. Identify and collect data on various species, but focusing on bats (Indiana and NLEB). Use topographic maps, aerial photographs, GPS units, and other maps and tools to determine exact locations of project areas, habitat types, and associated landforms.
Experience and qualifications for success:
Applicant should hold a current USFWS 10(A)(1)(a) permit authorizing surveys for Indiana bats and northern long-eared bats, or be immediately eligible to obtain such a permit. Prior experience with bat habitat assessments, mist net surveys, and other survey methods, as well as familiarity with current USFWS survey protocols, is required.
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field required or preferred
Experience in related fieldwork, including presence/absence surveys, population and nesting studies
Must be able to use Trimble GPS units with minimal training; familiarity with ArcGIS and/or ArcMap preferred
Ability to research and prepare technical documents
Current valid driver's license required
Ability to travel to a location, walk and conduct fieldwork for long hours, sometimes in inclement weather, rugged terrain, often at high altitudes, and ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds is required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
