Job Description:
Managing the compliance and continuous improvement of the site environmental programs;
Providing leadership, technical support, program auditing, assistance with strategy development for site programs and initiatives;
Implementing and auditing environmental programs, compliance strategies and management systems and tools;
Providing timely environmental metrics and reports;
Facilitating inspections and requests by regulatory agencies;
Providing support in maintaining ISO 14001 certification;
Submitting state and federal compliance reports;
Supervising the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
Education: 4-year degree required; Chemical, Environmental Engineering or Science degree preferred.

Environmental regulatory knowledge in air, solid hazardous waste, wastewater competencies, and manufacturing;
Ability to foresee and anticipate problems and make appropriate adjustments;
Ability to influence and negotiate with others at various levels of the organization and with regulatory agencies;
Ability to take initiative, self-manage, and identify what is needed and take effective action to bring about change and lead and implement change;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
