A manufacturer of premier plastics extrusion equipment that has been in business for 35 years and enjoys a solid reputation in the global plastics industry. They are in the process of developing expansion plans that would allow us to realize extreme growth over the next several years. A 35M$ division of a 300M$ company. Three central Divisions have been formed to enable a targeted focus on extrusion solutions: Construction (profile), Infrastructure (pipe) and Packaging. In each Division, the core competencies of all group brands have been pooled to place their extensive know-how at your disposal. Together, the group has more than 100 years of experience in the extrusion industry. With a global workforce of more than 750 employees.
Responsible for support of direct sales and promotion of all company products -extrusion machines- pipe and profile industry.
Working in the field with home/remote office.
Contact and build relationships with legacy customers.
Identify strategic target accounts.
Hold regular meetings with key accounts and prospects in the pipe and profile and construction industries.
Participate in local trade shows, seminars, industry groups, and promotional events relevant to the plastics industry.
Attend sales meetings, open houses, and other training events at North American headquarters.
What we are looking for in a Candidate:
2-5 years experience selling extrusion equipment or auxiliaries or product that supplies pipe or profile extrusion manufacturing.
Willingness to learn to sell new technology equipment as it is developed.
Knowledge of the pipe and profile construction industry a plus.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
Technical degree is required BSME preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
