The Material Analyst's primary role is closing manufacturing orders in the Dynamics GP system. A major part of this task is analyzing material consumption issues and identifying bill of material issues as well as transaction errors.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Check EGM traveler information against MFG Bill of Materials and Compliance artwork site for orders to be released to confirm information on travelers is correct.
Update and approve tasks created for Production Planning through machine selection summary workflows as machines are processed through SharePoint MSS workflow process.
Work with the Material Planning to ensure artwork and other materials are available and/or on order to support upcoming order-specific requirements.
Attend weekly back order meetings to be aware of material shortages potentially impacting orders. Track/expedite backordered artwork or parts that will impact Production.
Complete What Am I Missing forms for any machines on current orders in WIP that are being processed with known part shortages and attach the forms to those machines.
Interface daily with Production, Material Planning and Inventory to identify issues on manufacturing orders and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner. Address issues that Production Planning has responsibility for on machines in EGM Quarantine.
Reconcile and close manufacturing orders in Dynamics GP.
Identify potential bill of materials issues and work with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure 100% BOM accuracy.
Identify potential transaction errors and work with Inventory to reconcile.
Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Manufacturing.

Knowledge/Skills Required:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) is required.
Experience with Share Point and workflows is a plus
Knowledge of lean manufacturing desirable.
Education, Training and
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
At least an associate's college degree is strongly preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Minimum of 1 year experience with MRP systems and production scheduling is desirable.
Minimum of 1 year experience with Dynamics GP10 or similar application preferred.
