Summary:
Position will supervise plant safety and health programs to include accident prevention, safety training, hazardous materials management, ergonomics, and Plant Emergency Team.
Responsibilities:
Manage a comprehensive environmental, health, and safety program including prevention, investigation, and recording of accidents and related costs. Assist in measuring results and recommending actions.
Work with operations to identify potential problems, develop effective loss control goals and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Coordinate with all OSHA inspectors, fire department inspections and insurance carriers.
Inspect facilities and work safety methods. Consult with supervisors and recommend preventive or corrective measures relating to process, machinery, layout, and/or personal protective equipment.
Manage the Workers Compensation program. Participate with legal and/or insurance counsel in presenting information for hearings, investigation of claims and other actions where necessary.
Coordinate Plant Emergency Response Teams including training and certifications.
Coordinate Plant Ergonomics Teams, Plant Safety Committee, and Plant Safety Steering Committees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in safety required
Master degree in applicable field preferred, as well as, professional certification in safety, industrial hygiene, or hazardous materials preferred
Three years closely related industrial safety experience
Must have 14001/18001 experience, and or lead auditor training
Working knowledge of OSHA and NFPA laws
Work experinece in heavy manufacturing environment and equipment
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
