Rockwell Collins IMS in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Cloud Software Developer to support our Airports Division. This engineering group designs, builds and maintains several products sold to airports and airlines throughout the world including Flight Information and Display Systems, Integration Systems, Resource Management Systems, Identity Management Systems, Airport Operational Databases, as well as custom software. The engineer will be tasked with development items to improve existing software products, integration systems and new software products as needed.
The Cloud Software Developer will:
Help keep our core infrastructure within the hosting facility and deliver application support to the remote site.
Help move one of our flagship products to be hosted from the cloud.
Conduct software requirements analysis, development, integration and support.
Analyze the pitfalls for various deployment scenarios and ensure the infrastructure is capable of working around/within those constraints.

Qualifications
Required
Experience:
Possess experience developing solutions based in the cloud.
Possess seven (7) or more years with specific knowledge of C# programming language. Experience with Java is a plus.
Experience with multi-threaded applications, web services, and client and server side programming paradigms.
Possess hands on experience utilizing COM, COM+, MSMQ.
Experience in large system environments, software requirements analysis, development, integration and support.
Experience in working with the following technologies:
Virtual Desktops - Infrastructure as a Service.
Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
Application Virtualization.
Application Streaming.
Cloud Related
Qualifications:
Experienced with different cloud hosting solutions and the strengths and weaknesses of each.
Experienced with open source solutions that will allow provisioning in a cloud provider agnostic manner.
Experienced in developing the software infrastructure to support the above deployment models.
Key Skills:
Highly analytical and knowledgeable in current technologies with strong problem solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
Conceptual ability to develop technically sound solutions for complex and abstract problems, where similar precedence does not exist.
Ability to objectively articulate the pros and cons of any particular part of a technical solution to their lead or to management.
Education:
Bachelor's degree Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or graduated from Technical School, years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
