The successful candidate for this position must possess strong skills in the areas of production control planning. Able to functionally plan projects in multiple product groups. Open work orders for jobs from quotes in VIS or equivalent program; including assign routings, ensure primary structure and establish the original schedule. Provide the shop with all necessary project documentation. Create and maintain project quality documents. Determine material needs for kit requisitions. Ascertain the impact of revisions issued; adding parts, operations and adjusting schedules as needed. Be the focal point on structuring, routing and scheduling. Responsible for processing department reports as either primary or as back-up. Prepares and analyze the shop Department Utilization and Efficiency Report as well as Shop Load. May direct work of Planners I and II as Lead.

Work Experience Required:
Five (5) years in Production Planning. Operational understanding of manufacturing planning using MRP/ERP software. Must possess strong MS Excel, Word, and Access skills. Must have strong communication skills. Possess strong leadership abilities. High Energy!
Work Experience Preferred:
Ten (10) years or greater experience in Production Planning. Working knowledge of Visibility. Strong MS Office skills, Impromptu/Cognos report generation, Demonstrated history to lead functional work teams.
Education / Certification Required:
Degree preferred or work equivalent
Education / Certification Preferred:
Vocational School, APICS, Lean MFG
Physical Demands / Unusual Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment; able to multi-task at times. Some walking. Able to work in industrial environment.
Other Considerations:
Able to work overtime if necessary
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
