Plant Manager - Tulsa Job DescriptionBased in Tulsa, OK, the Plant Manager will act as an integral member of the senior leadership team for the Circuit Board Solutions strategic business unit for the Electronic Systems Group. This position creates net value for us by leading manufacturing operations to achieve annual operating objectives and long range plans. This role will have responsibility for the total performance of the Tulsa facility, providing leadership, coordination and direction for all production operations, engineering, planning and facility maintenance to meet budgetary requirements.Electronic Systems Group specializes in solutions smart, innovative and reliable solutions to meet our customers' needs. We provide turnkey manufacturing services for highly complex, high-performance interconnect solutions and electronic, electromechanical and engineered products used in critical functions where durability and peak performance are vital. Our customers are leaders in diverse and demanding industries such as defense, aerospace, industrial, natural resources and medical. Provide leadership, supervisor, coordination, and direction for operations to ensure conformance to quality standards, meeting delivery targets and meeting financial goals. Provide leadership, coordination and direction for all production operations, engineering, planning and facility maintenance to meet budgetary requirements. Provide leadership for and development of direct reports establishing priorities and accountabilities; allocating resources; guiding achievement of performance measures. Ownership for plant layout for all production areas. Promote continuous improvement culture via lean manufacturing and six sigma principles. Monitor operations performance against key performance goals to ensure progress is being made and corrective action, if necessary, is taken. Set operational performance goals tailored to each manufacturing center of excellence. Lead managers to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the companys overall business strategy. Develop the business plan for assigned operations lead the planning process; establish priorities, ensure financial and operational results. Develop and maintain strong internal/external customer relationships. Actively partner with your peers to maximize the operational effectiveness while meeting the needs of the customers we serve. Promote the concept of individual responsibility for product quality. Provide leadership and management for facility maintenance for safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.). Prepare annual departmental budget, including sales bookings and shipments and responsible for performance to plan. Manage performance to key performance indicator goals (for example, on-time delivery, quality, safety, cycle time, overhead efficiency, and productivity per employee). Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management. Manage the expansion of facilities and the acquisition and installation of capital equipment. Participate in recruiting, selection and development of all operations personnel through maintaining discipline and personnel relations, interviewing screened applicants. Provide input for hiring, terminations, transfers, salary adjustments and promotions. Perform other assignments as required. Required Skills Proven analytical and problem solving skills. Understanding of legal business climate including Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Excellent communication skills to interact with people at all levels and in all functions inside and outside of the Company. Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, scheduling, staffing, safety, and maintenance. Demonstrated project management experienceplanning, budget, allocation of resources. Negotiation and conflict management skills together with demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem-solving. Detail oriented with attention to accuracy. Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels and functions inside and outside of the Company. Ability to quickly and accurately assess and address complex problems using creative approaches. Demonstrated strategic thinking skills that portray the ability to conceptualize business requirements in a proactive manner. Required Experience Bachelors degree in a business or technical field required, post graduate degree preferred. 10 plus years of broad business experience, including senior level role(s) with responsibility for 100
people. Implementation or/and have ran an ISO9000 facility/company. Working knowledge of SPC, TQM. Lean Manufacturing, and ISO standards. Mil Specs required at military and aerospace facilities. Greenbelt or Blackbelt accredited is a plus. Intermediate level of computer skills in email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers. MUST HAVE experience in electronics manufacturing assembly; printed circuit card assembly and electro-mechanical assembly experience in a contract manufacturing environment. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
