We are looking for a strong C++/C# Software Development engineer. This person work on a team responsible for design and development activities associated with STATISTICA software using a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, other tools) for products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Analyzes requirements and develops innovative, useful software. Modifies existing software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability. Participates in product development in all stages from planning and design to development and testing. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Requirements:
8
years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Solid knowledge of programming languages C++, C#; operating systems
Experience in .NET programming, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Template Library (ATL), Microsoft Windows API programming, Microsoft COM, and MSXML
Preferences:
Experience in XSL and SQL a plus
Able to achieve mastery of new tools and languages with training and on-the-job experience
Able to understand and follow software lifecycle methods
Experience developing a commercial software product is a strong preference
