MISSION:
Provides sound engineering principles and discipline for TDW Global Service Centers for standard and special HT&P; applications with engineered solutions and trouble shooting for HT&P; applications.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Supports HT&P; field applications by supplying engineered solution and operational procedures as required ensuring that jobs are completed within corporate guidelines at minimal delay and cost and with maximum safety.
2. Coordinates the design and fabrication of special equipment, modification of existing equipment for special HT&P; applications.
3. Monitors the use of outside vendors and machine shops to ensure products meet appropriate specifications and that cost are within industry norms.
4. Contributes to the effectiveness of TDW Service Quality Control program by conducting field audits when requested.
5. Remains current on new developments, policies and procedures relating to equipment and operational/maintenance techniques and implements changes as necessary.
6. Improves technical knowledge by reviewing technical papers/literature and attending appropriate seminars and workshops with the intent of applying latest technology to TDW products & services.
7. Ensures compliance with established quality control/assurance procedures while performing all the HT&P; related processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Professional registration desirable.
3. Knowledgeable of applicable pipeline codes; able to perform advanced engineering calculations.
4. Computer literate with the use of CAD systems; Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities at the Intermediate level.
5. Minimum five (5) years experience with TDW equipment or mechanical engineering experience in high pressure and/or temperature piping equipment.
6. Good communication skills (both oral and written).
7. Is required to carry Cell Phone after regular hours, on weekends and holidays.
