What is the position?

The Manager of Manufacturing Engineering reports to the Director of Operations and manages the Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Test Engineering teams. The Manager's direct reports include the Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering, Supervisor of Manufacturing Test Engineering, and New Product Development ME Lead. The Manager of Manufacturing Engineering provides leadership to the ME/MTE organization in order to advance manufacturing.


What do you need to be able to do?
Define and implement programming, test, and manufacturing best practices and scalable processes which include: Standard Work, Poka-yoke, OEE, TPM, and 5S.
Provide timely, customer focused support to Manufacturing through our gemba walk and andon flag processes in order to help achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals.
Champion continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma best practices and ensure the ME/MTE teams are leaders in this area.
Drive manufacturing readiness through the support of new process development for new product launches. This involves working closely with Design Engineering during product development to ensure successful new product launches.

What are the requirements?

Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; MBA or Master of Engineering a plus
10
years of experience in an Engineering/Operations environment with 3-5 years in a Managerial position

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
