Responsibilities: The project manager will be responsible for guiding IT infrastructure projects from inception, through planning, deployment, and support. The project manager will be responsible for generating requirements documents, hour estimate, project timelines, cost estimates, deployment plans, status updates, and support plans. In addition to project management documentation the project manager will also be responsible for creating and maintaining operational process documents, disaster recovery plans, and network diagrams. The project manager will be responsible for managing the IT support ticketing systems and coordinating assignments with staff members. The project manager will work closely with the software development group to ensure that infrastructure programs are in sync with software development timelines. Required Skills and Experiences: Strong written and verbal communication skills At least five years of experience with Microsoft Project Experience leading infrastructure requirements meetings At least five years of producing formalized project management documentation Experience producing project cost spreadsheets Experience interfacing directly with executive management Experience with VISIO and network diagrams Experience in the direct management of external product and
services
vendors Strong understanding of current Internet technologies, and web Servers Desired Skills and Experiences: Current PMI certification, or at least five years of managing projects in an environment that used PMI methodology Strong experience managing infrastructure in a LAMP stack environment Experience working in an infrastructure environment where custom applications were present Strong experience managing the selection, deployment, and support of network appliances Experience with PCI DSS audits Solid understanding of security best practices Direct experience working in the payment processing, or banking industry Experience managing team members in a Matrix environment At least two years of experience with web based collaboration tools such as Basecamp Experience creating disaster recovery plans Strong experience in process improvement and documentation MYK62683JREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
