Overview:
The Staffing Consultant is responsible for Hiring Manager satisfaction, and will work as a full life cycle Recruiter. Staffing Consultants work closely with all levels management to define, develop, and implement recruiting strategies and bring top talent to the organization. This role requires someone who is very detail orientated, and who has the ability to recruit on hard to fill niche positions.
Responsibilities:
Upon approval of a new requisition, will conduct recruitment intakes to determine qualifications of the position. Will also develop and implement recruitment strategies and provide weekly updates to the management team.
Will work within a predefined recruitment processes to source, screen, present, hire and onboard new employees.
Will identify new methods and approaches for sourcing of candidates and generating new leads, and will help to set expectations with hiring team on what the market will bear in regards to available candidates.
Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly production goals as set by management team
Will utilize Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and other tools to source and track candidates.
Use detailed screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and determine the relevant strength of the candidates in the pool, along with making recommendations to the hiring management team surrounding qualifications, compensation etc.
Will develop and extend offers of employment, initiate background screens and drug testing, and will coordinate onboarding of new hires.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 4 years experience in full life cycle recruiting
At least 3 years experience in recruiting experience directly sourcing in (Manufacturing, Engineering or Oil & Gas)
At least 4 years experience in proficiency PC skills including in-depth internet knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and database applications
At least 4 years experience in building relationships and consulting with Hiring Managers through the open requisition, sourcing, debrief and offer stages
