MISSION:
Supports the business by applying
information technology
to business processes and application systems to meet business needs as assigned in the Information Technology Responsibility Chart. Provides Help Desk support for applications as assigned in this same chart.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides application support to internal and external customers for assigned applications. This includes but is not restricted to in-depth analysis of application functionality and its application to the business, evaluation of applicability of applications to solve both technical and business issues.
2. Provides Help Desk support as assigned to internal and external customers for problem resolution and resolution of questions.
3. Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field and strives to continually improve the technology delivered to support the business.
4. Conducts project analysis, evaluation, programming, execution and implementation as assigned by Information Technology management.
5. Will be on call in response to system failure or other problems that might interrupt system operation during scheduled system availability commitment.
6. Participates as active member of committees as assigned by company management.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS:
Reports to Supervisor, Information Technology. Supports internal and external customers. Accountable to the members of the Information Technology Department. Works closely with other members/teams in the Information Technology Department and internal customers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor's or Associates degree in Information Systems or related field; Bachelor's preferred. Demonstrated experience can be exchanged for the degree.
2. Detailed knowledge of application systems,
computer
operations and business practices applicable to TDW.
3. Analysis and application/programming skills in the assigned areas of responsibilities to include formal training or equivalent experience.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to be on call in response to system failure or other problems that might interrupt system operation during scheduled system availability commitment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
