MISSION:
To serve as a focal point for all health, safety and environmental activities principal to TDWs global HSE Management System (HSEMS). Responsible for proactively managing risk and reputation while directing HSE business activities
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop, lead and implement HSE programs that are integral to the businesss progressive growth.
Effective management of global HSE activities which ensures compliance with organizational performance standards, policies and procedures.
Provide technical leadership and direction to regional, plant/facility or activity(team based) HSE managers, coordinators and specialist to identify and minimize HSE hazards and risks.
Conduct HSE management system and assurance audits, perform gap analysis and deliver recommended solutions of HSE related activities.
Lead, promote and advocate continuous improvement for all HSE activities and processes.
Analyze HSE trends, results, drivers and KPIs and develop improvement plans as required.
Develop, implement and continually assess performance metrics used to develop and sustain beneficial behaviors relative to HSE.
Serves as company representative for Customer HSE matters
Chairperson for senior leadership reviews (Critical Incident Reviews, HSE Management Team reviews, Board of Director updates.
Serves as company representative in dealings with regulatory, government, industry agencies (OSHA, EPA, DOT, and international equivalents).
Provide leadership and direction to global HSE team that will ensure the team achieves consistently high levels of performance.
Drive a culture that embraces continuous improvement, innovation and positive process change.
Ensure team is well aligned with operations and is perceived as a value added partner.
Work closely with domestic and international team members to foster sharing of best practices, lessons learned as well as shared accountability for global performance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
BS in a technical discipline
Certified Safety Professional or related accreditation

years of experience in operations and or HSE
Relevant oil and gas industry experience with manufacturing and field operations experience preferred.
Ability to move back and forth between strategic and tactical aspects of the role, set priorities and produce results under challenging conditions and tight deadlines.
Certification in a accredited Lean Six Sigma program or willingness to become certified.
Proven leadership skills in a multi-location (global) environment with an emphasis on people skills.
Ability to utilize resources and successfully network amongst large and diverse groups.
Able to translate, articulate, simplify and communicate complex business and technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of expertise.
Excellent written, verbal and multimedia communications skills including ability to plan and deliver effective presentations.
Fluent in English, other language skills (French, Spanish, Russian) a plus.
Proficient with international travel (4-6 weeks per year)

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
