Medical Laboratory Technologist
Urgent Hiring for Medical Laboratory Scientist in Tulsa, OK (3rd Shift)
Must be located Closer to Tulsa, OK
Job Description:
responsible for performing routine and specialized testing and quality control, understands theory of most tests and troubleshoots common technical problems.
Obtains blood specimens and collects nonblood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing.
Processes specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing. Prepares specimens for reference laboratory dispatch and testing
Qualifications:
Associates Degree Required in Science
Preferred MLT or MLS Certification
If not certified, MUST HAVE 1-2 years of experience in blood bank, a clinical lab (hospital or outpatient, not genetics, etc)
MUST have experience with Cerner LIS
