BASIC FUNCTIONThe primary function of the Project Engineer includes, but is not limited to, schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for the engineering department. The functions of the Project Engineer also include performance management of vendors and ensuring projects are completed according to project plans.The Project Engineer will apply extensive knowledge of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices to plan, direct and coordinate the engineering design, integration, analysis and certification of company products and processes for manufacturing of complete systems, components and subsystems for a variety of customer needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe principal duties and responsibilities of the Project Engineer consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Develops solutions to a variety of complex and unusual problems that require independent judgment and ingenuity to modify procedures standards related to managing engineering projects in the areas of design or technology. Work is accomplished under general direction and completed work is reviewed for results. This includes process improvements to existing systems and processes that the business functions by.Analyzes project objectives and requirements to determine feasibility, reducibility, cost, and production time. Discusses technical issues of the project with customer representatives, engineers, and other personnel.Uses Solidworks to draw configurations that can be used for purchasing or manufacturing purposes. The use of CAD/ CAM is necessary and vital to this role.Evaluates product design for conformance to engineering principles, customer requirements, quality standards, and specifications. Ensures engineering specifications, drawings and other technical documents are produced to standard engineering practices and regulatory requirements. Evaluates and approves design changes and drawing releases.Assigns project personnel to specific aspects or phases of project such as analysis, development, or design. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules. Identifies program problems and obtains solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contract specifications and technical solutions. Coordinates design, production, testing, and related activities.Consults with project personnel and others to provide technical assistance and information.Coordinates with Manufacturing, Marketing, Contracts, and Quality Assurance and other groups to ensure required engineering documentation is established and maintained for each project.Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.Learns and or, is familiar with the DFARS, FARS, CUI, CMMC, and all other regulations that are applicable Requirements:
Must be in the Tulsa, Ok area. No relocation assistanceEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSRequired - Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering Preferred - Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Experience in ISO/AS9100 or Six Sigma. Kaizen and principles of lean manufacturing.Compensation details:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
