In this role, you will work under the supervision of 2-3 attorneys, providing support and ensuring they are able to carry out their duties.
You will communicate with clients, compile case materials, and carry out a variety of administrative duties.
The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented and has 2-3 years of experience at minimum working as a legal secretary.
Responsibilities Provide general administrative support Maintain attorney calendars Manage attorney case travel Prepare case-specific documents, reports and manage dictation Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review Maintain and update documentation Qualifications Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role is preferred Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with document management experience Excellent research skills Comfortable Microsoft Office and Adobe Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
