This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity for someone just starting out in the legal field.
We are looking for a motivated Legal Assistant with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to attorneys.
Answer phone calls and provide visitors with appropriate guidance.
Write letters, memos, and faxes.
Transcribe and analyze documents.
Monitor and maintain files.
Maintain contact lists.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
Prior legal assistant experience is preferred but not required.
The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, have the ability to multi-task, work independently, and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment with other attorneys.
The successful candidate must have good time management skills under pressure with strong communication and time management abilities.
