We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Tax Advisor within our Tax Department based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Focused on US tax compliance activities associated with the company's international operations, you will:
Collaborate with Company accounting and financial reporting personnel to obtain a working knowledge of the Oxy business, from both accounting and operating perspectives.
Analyze data to calculate taxable income for quarterly tax provision and income tax compliance (including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC, etc.
).
Manage E&P calculations for foreign subsidiaries and maintenance of U.
S tax attributes.
Assist with Pillar 2 and Transfer Pricing analysis and obligations.
Prepare tax basis balance sheet.
Perform tax research.
Document and provide recommendations regarding proper tax compliance reporting treatment of transactions.
Assist with gathering data to address IRS and external auditor inquiries.
Identify and implement ways to improve and streamline processes.
Participate in special projects.
