The Employment Services Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Adult Education and Case Management Departments to identify and support students and clients with education and employment goals.
Responsible for goal setting to create individualized plans and group services to address job readiness skills, remove barriers to employment and reach self-sufficiency.
Connect individuals to education opportunities as well as finding and maintaining employment.
Develop and deliver job ready workshops to clients weekly, as well as community partner organizations for client recruitment.
Partner Outreach Work collaboratively with the Adult Education teachers identifying and tracking goals for students related to employment and advance training opportunities.
Conduct outreach within our adult education classes to promote employment and guidance services.
The employment services coordinator will recruit for the program as well as seek employment and educational opportunities as participants complete job readiness workshops or are referred to the workforce team Conduct activities in the community relating to participant development and identify and recruit target population of clients.
Team Support and Guidance Assist eligible clients in setting educational or employment goals and creating Employability plans as required by grant and program requirements.
Coordinate employment and education services connecting clients to employment opportunities and assisting with applications, providing job orientation, connecting clients to education and workforce training opportunities, assisting with credential evaluation, and connecting clients to social service resources to provide a comprehensive approach to client's goal of self-sufficiency.
Deliver job readiness skills training in resume building, job search, interviewing, workplace communication, emotional intelligence and the development of basic remedial employability skills.
Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage students in meeting program goals.
Conduct ongoing monitoring and follow-up of clients including follow-up calls and check ins at established touchpoints to encourage completion of goals and track retention in employment.
Assist in facilitation of on-going internal staff training and coaching Educate staff on job search skills and industry trends Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Data Tracking and Reporting Utilize the agency's database to enter all intake assessments, track progress towards goals, case notes, and outcomes in a timely manner as dictated by program requirements.
Maintain appropriate case files to provide accurate and timely documentation following program guidelines and protecting confidential client information.
Professional Growth and Development Attend and participate in staff meetings for supervision, team building and program planning Participate in regular sessions to review cases, discuss employment strategy and monitor client progress Participate in weekly staff meetings as determined by Workforce Program Director.
Participate in YWCA functions as needed and requested by the Manager and/or Director.
Comply with all YWCA policies and procedures.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
