Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all warehouse duties including receiving deliveries, pulling orders, staging, replenishing inventory, labeling, building kits, assisting with customer pick-ups, working with Program Coordinators for internal program needs, overall safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Ensure safety and quality are top priority Must work well with others and succeed in a team environment Loading and unloading product on a forklift, working on the receiving dock and warehouse Process in receiving documents and measurements and rack product Handle program purchase invoices and collaborates with internal stakeholders Maintains CERES inputs and cycle counts Provides intake support for new vendors/producers or vendors/producers for Farm to Table Program Adhere to food safety regulations Daily cleaning, organization and date labeling Remove spoiled product and clean coolers Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess many of these professional and personal abilities and attributes:
A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school diploma, GED or technical education and prior experience in a warehouse and distribution environment.
Being a team player is a must Experience in a fulfillment center is a plus Must be able to obtain a forklift certification Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency and enthusiasm, both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and ability to resolve problems Must be able to use a computer and hand-held scanner, and operate all warehouse equipment safely Must be able to use office equipment Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and follow through on multiple daily tasks and projects.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
