Essential Qualities A Director of Family Services at Tulsa Educare is responsible overseeing all aspects of child enrollment, community outreach and partnerships, family and child health, and monitoring progress and compliance.

_ Enrollment Oversee the coordination of recruitment, selection, enrollment, and orientation of children and families Conduct tours to interested applicants and community partners when needed Develop a system for transitioning children into the program, from classroom to classroom and to the school system ensuring materials are translated in families' home language Family Engagement Working with School Director to develop and maintain family engagement initiatives that support the parent's role in developing strong, positive parent/child relationships by enhancing their understanding of their child's development, health and learning and by strengthening the parent's role in their child's school and educational experiences Foster continued growth and development of a comprehensive parent resource and referral system that connects enrolled families to appropriate resources to assist with family goals and needs Coach and guide staff to best assess enrolled families' strengths and needs Facilitate parent engagement event planning with staff that utilizes information from family and child assessments, goals and parent interests Monitor and track all activities in the family services program including completion of family assessments, family partnership agreements, health needs, community referrals, children's attendance and status of fee reimbursement for each child Community Engagement Develop collaborative community partnerships, represent Educare at community events and improve access to comprehensive services for families Communicate the agency philosophy and goals to visitors and other community programs and organizations, including role-modeling and serving as a resource for other child care programs Program Development and Oversight Understand, support and implement the core features of Educare Learning Network (data utilization, intensive family engagement, embedded professional development and high quality teaching practices) to improve child and family outcomes Manage and oversee aspects of family engagement staff employee growth and development including, interviewing, onboarding, performance evaluations, discipline actions and conflict resolution Ensure compliance in all state and federal standards are met including, Early Head Start, Oklahoma Department of Human Services Child Care Licensing Standards (DHS), Oklahoma Tribal licensing, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Accreditation standards, and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Development and review program strategies to ensure continuous program improvement based on research outcomes and best practices Participate as a team member in program development and review, and openly support changes to ensure continuous program improvement based on research outcomes and best practices Additional Duties Communicate regularly with the School Director to receive guidance, report progress, plan new strategies, discuss problems, and receive information on program policies and procedures Assist with special projects, report, and other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills Broad knowledge and experience in:
Creating an environment of mutual respect and partnership between staff and families Communicating complex information in an openly positive manner Facilitating, presenting and effectively communicating to a diverse population Displaying excellent interpersonal and communication skills with drive, energy and a passion for development of people and the department Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills Theories and principles of family engagement, child development, and adult learning Approaches to working with low-income families and strength based goals Balancing and prioritizing multiple projects and priorities and following through to completion Maintaining strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data MS Office skills, database software skills, organizational skills, efficiency skills and excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments on a timely basis Must be driven to follow Tulsa Educare's Values:

Minimum Qualifications Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Child & Family Development, Early Childhood, Social Work, or related field Minimum two years of supervisory/management experience and relevant experience providing services to families and children Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Other Primarily an office position with some local travel (exposure to normal traffic hazards).
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Regular and reliable attendance required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
