This position will gather training needs from all TEi department Leads, mapping out training plans, identifying and assigning the responsible Trainers, scheduling and notifying Individuals or Teams of required training to complete within a period of time or approaching deadlines.
The Training Coordinator will execute regularly scheduled communications with Trainers and Trainees to ensure training activities are completed as scheduled or coordinates alternative timing.
In addition, the Training Coordinator will file all records and confirm TEi's online training activities are assigned, completed, and permanently recorded.
This position will also provide assistance in other areas of human resources to the department.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Develops training programs (outsourced and in-house) for the business corporate, HR training and more, choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc.
).
Distributes available training opportunities to employees and provides additional scope information as needed.
Collects and analyses training effectiveness data and provides report recommendations to Trainers to improve the training programs through additions or deletions.
Periodically reviews and assigns company wide and or department specific needs for annual, biannual or triennial training requirements, including certification and recertification activities.
Schedules retraining/testing activities, collects and files retraining records and certification documentation.
Assists in the research, collection and presents training records, demonstrating quality system training and records retention compliance.
Provides necessary records information to department Directors, Managers and Supervisors as required.
Work closely with HR to provide assistance in the department including providing training to employees related to Human Resources such as policies and procedures, mandatory courses, benefits, wellness program, etc.
Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
Train new hires on company policies and procedures by using the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
Provide information on company benefits to employees to encourage participation.
Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Associates Degree preferred 1-3 yrs of experience in Document Control and/or Business related training development.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Extreme attention to detail and schedules is necessary.
Experience working with formal document control or document management systems within an engineering/manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
High level of understanding and knowledge of documentation formats and media received and distributed is necessary.
Strong experience working with various software programs including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Adobe products, file compression products, electronic document control products, and file transfer protocol systems is necessary.

The base pay range for this Human Resources/Training Coordinator role is $42,250 - $63,750 annually.
