Summary:
This role provides support to the human resource function as needed, including onboarding, payroll processing, reporting, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS administration.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Processes up to 3 bi-weekly payrolls, submits 401k uploads and assists with all resolutions to payroll and time & attendance issues.
Assists with new hire onboarding.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Participates in process improvements, innovative solutions, and streamlined workflows to increase efficiencies and improvement of HR-related processes.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Enters and monitors regulatory codes in HRIS to ensure compliance, i.
e.
FFCRA, FMLA, etc.
Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
Responds to all verbal or written verifications of employment.
Reconciles HR invoices.
Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
Handles various HR reporting requirements.
Responsible for event planning including service awards, United Way campaign, holiday events, etc.
Responsible for HR communication content on Company TVs.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Scans documents into appropriate employee files.
Responsible for petty cash administration and reconciliation.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Orders office supplies for employees.
Processes mail.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

At least 1 year of ADP Workforce Now experience.
Education and
Experience:
Associate degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least three years related experience required.
