The Development Director will bring leadership, vision, and oversight to the Development Department.
The Development Director is responsible for creating and implementing systems, structures, and training while providing easily accessible resources that develop, empower, and equip TC Staff with the necessary tools and skills they need to operate in excellence daily.

Duties):
Receive, cast, and translate vision and share effectively to a multi-generational, multicultural, and multi-ethnic body Annually oversees the development of the departmental goals and objectives Leads team in the development of infrastructure to ensure the existence of both ground and global impact Establish and implement systems, structures, training, and resources that equip, empower, and develop TC Staff Oversee the creation and implementation of both staff and leadership development training Work closely with the Strategy Department to ensure that all training aligns with TC organizational goals.
Create and implement staff development training curriculum (Manager Training, Staff Orientation, Staff Development, etc.
) Healthily lead a team in the development of infrastructure Oversee the planning and execution of Staff Events (Staff Advance, Staff Fun Month, etc.
) Manage budget and stewardship of finances Lead yourself and others in a healthy environment that produces spiritual, emotional, and professional growth Coach and provide feedback in a way that produces awareness and growth in your team Strategic Leadership Leads creation of agenda and discussion of department-wide (monthly) and Team Director meetings (weekly) Helps the Team Directors (TD) and their teams understand and carry out vision and strategic direction Tracks strategic initiatives and major projects by monitoring progress towards meeting goals, analyzing data, ensuring follow-through, and sustaining momentum needed to drive these initiatives Oversees department budget and stewardship of finances Leadership Development Provide support, encouragement, and coaching in the development and nurturing of TDs Lead weekly team meetings (1:
1 or group settings) in a timely fashion, with the agenda in mind to include major announcements/updates and leadership development training Oversees the staffing, development, evaluation, and education of TDs Quarterly reviews for all direct reports, including occasional Mile Markers, Performance Improvement Plans, and Corrective Action All other duties, as assigned Head (Responsibilities

REQUIRED:
Minimum 3 Years of Professional Experience Ministry experience preferred Ability to lead self and others in a healthy environment that produces self-awareness along with the spiritual, emotional and professional growth Exceptional tact and discretion with confidential information Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Sufficiently competent and skillful in technology (i.
e.
email, documents, presentations) Ability to act resourcefully or innovatively in difficult situations Ability to form and lead a team to complete projects Strong verbal and written communication
