The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of HR experience and be able to plan, lead, direct, develop and coordinate the firm's Human Resources department.
This role is 100% remote with up to 10% travel.

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for all aspects of employee relations including benefit plan administration, full cycle recruiting, performance and appraisal management, staff development and recognition, safety, post-employment status and, policy administration and development to support the day-to-day HR operations Partner with the HR Director and other HR team members to support the daily and ongoing needs of the business and promote a positive work environment through compliance.
Partner closely with internal and external business partners to support the needs of the business.
Acts as primary point of contact for HR department.
Ensuring fair and consistent administration of policies and practices.
Answer general employee inquiries or concerns; escalate issues; advise supervisors and managers on employee relations.
Process and coordinate pre-employment checks, conduct on-boarding and new hire orientation.
Assist and lead projects related to HR operations from creating action plans to execution.
Provide training for new programs and processes to managers and employees.
Ensure records in HRIS and other databases are up to date and complete.
Assist and manage leaves of absences.
Perform various audits to records to ensure compliance and completeness.
Process new hires and terminations including unemployment claims and hearings as needed.
Monitor and coordinate all local/state governmental and regulatory compliance activities.
Driving accountability with supervisors and managers to ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of their employees.
Assist in conducting investigations.
Assist in the processing of Payroll as needed.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Benefit AdministrationThis position will perform the daily benefit coordination of our employee benefit programs including health care, disability insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, and our flexible spending account program and wellness program.
Oversees employee benefit programs including analysis, design, recommendation, and implementation.
Partners with our external customers to perform benchmarking and analyze trends to improve our employee benefit programs and reduce costs.
Oversees implementation of new benefit plans or benefit changes.
Ensures our employees have a full understanding of our total benefits package.
Educates our employees on plan provisions so that individuals can make well informed decisions on benefits.
Manages the annual open enrollment process for all benefit programs.
Coordinates employee questions and concerns related to benefit programs functioning as a liaison with various insurance carriers.
Ensures compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other applicable regulations impacting our benefit programs.
Manages all billing and invoicing of our benefit programs so we are accurately charged for the services and coverages received.
Talent AcquisitionBring in the Best Talent by managing the entire recruiting lifecycle to include but not limited to sourcing and advertising position, Applicant Tracking System activity, resume screening, interviewing, feedback management, hiring recommendations, offer presentation and negotiation, internal transfer process and onboarding.
Maintain both Internal and External Job Posting process; manage communication to hiring managers and employees on status of open positions.
Partner with HR team to use a variety of strategic sourcing strategies for openings.
Ensure OFCCP compliance in all hiring activities.
Report out weekly on key staffing scorecard.
Build an internal and external talent pipeline.
Experience using contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates.

Ability to travel up to 10%.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent strongly preferred.
5 years of progressive leadership in HR management.
Minimum of 2 years of Benefit Administration.
Minimum of 3 years HR experience with multi-state locations.
Minimum of 2 years full cycle recruiting experience.
Broad knowledge of employment law and practices.
PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
