The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment for surgery.
This includes decontaminating, cleaning, inspecting, assembling, packaging and sterilizing instruments according to established standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a sterile processing environment and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Follow safety protocols when handling medical instruments and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform sterilization processes according to established protocols.
Inspect and test sterilized instruments for proper functioning.
Prepare instruments for surgery.
Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes.
Ensure that all medical instruments are properly labeled and stored.
