About This Position:
As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for assembling bid packages, preparing contract documents, process permits, and act as the liaison between the estimators and the accounting department.
Your average work week is Monday - Friday, 08:
00A-5:
00P, with occasional after hours or Saturday depending on bid schedule.
As a Construction Administrator, you may be tasked with the following
Responsibilities:
Assemble bid packages, requesting bid bonds, complete affidavits, and prequalification statements.
Preparing contract documents for signatures.
Process construction contracts and assist with subcontracts.
Obtain required permits and initiate utility locates, such as OKIE Dig.
Process monthly billing per contract requirements.
Process change orders under the direction of the management team.
Track progress of billing, payments, lien waivers.
Assist estimators and accounting department as directed Base Salary is $60000 - $72500 / year.
Pay is dependent on experience.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of (3) years of construction contract management or administration experience required.
Must be organized, efficient, and prioritize workload to complete tasks on time and meet deadlines.
Ability to learn and be trained in company procedures, policies, and construction principles which include Microsoft Office/Project/Excel/Word, and Vista by Viewpoint.
Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software as required to complete job duties.
Demonstrate a positive attitude toward work including striving for maximum production.
Ability to analyze problems and strategize for successful solution.
