About the Role
You ll keep our systems stable and resolve incidents by diagnosing, isolating, and debugging software problems. You ll perform low to medium complexity tasks encountered by end-users related to systems NT, Windows, and Unix. Overall, you will provide business applications with a well-tuned infrastructure environment.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will define, implement, integrate, and support the enterprise tool stack required for DevSecOps practices
- You will constantly review emerging technologies and software that will strengthen the security and automation capabilities for the enterprise
- You will provide coding standards, best practices and review of content provided by extended development teams to ensure compliance with those standards
- You will partner with peer organizations to drive the adoption of GitOps and DevSecOps methodologies
- You will develop, test, debug, and document modules or libraries for use across multiple projects for the primary purposes of automation
- You will develop, test, debug, implement, and support internal applications used for the purposes of automation
- You will evaluate platform performance, isolate and debug software problems, and make recommendations for problem resolution
- You will anticipate and identify issues inhibiting goal attainment of assigned unit/area and develop and implement corrective actions

You ll need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to internal audiences.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
You are tech-savvy and understand the systems you support, including their integrations and how they affect all sides. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow, SolarWinds, MS server, and load balancing are key.

Education & Experience Requirements
The required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 5-7 years of IT work experience in systems administration or equivalent work related experience of 9-11 years.
- Thorough knowledge of technical disciplines required to support a mission-critical Windows/Unix enterprise
- Knowledge of server virtualization and associated tools
- OS Software:
Proficient in at least one Unix operating system and Windows OS - Basic knowledge of internal and external disks, hardware connectivity, disk arrays, tape drives, hardware shutdown and boot-up procedures, disk format configuration, volume manager software
- Thorough knowledge of Disaster Recovery best practices
- Working knowledge of performance monitors and debugger tools
- Ability to solve problems independently, quickly and completely and to communicate them clearly to management
- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence and to define technical requirements from business requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to define, prioritize, schedule and monitor multiple technical activities and efforts
- Experience in performance and capacity planning
- Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas in a non-technical way to all levels of employees
- Employee must be able to work independently is self-motivated and results oriented
- Adheres to company standards, methodology, confidentiality, and security requirements consistently demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism
