Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary.
  • Obtain complete history and position patients using immobilization when necessary and explain the procedure to patients.
  • Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality
  • Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient/employee safety
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, and exposure, and transmit to PACS

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Technical or Associate s radiography degree
  • Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
    • If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment
  • Active BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements

  • 1-year of Radiology experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
