Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, principles of surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, use and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Assist the surgical team in accomplishing the plan of surgical care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Understand the surgery schedule workflow and is available to meet the needs for room turnovers, patient transport, and cleaning.

Qualifications

Job Requirements


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification OR be willing, able, and eligible to obtain it within the first six (6) months of employment
  • Active BLS certification

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
