Responsibilities
  • Work under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform duties.
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
  • Observe patients' progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
  • Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
  • Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
  • Measure and record patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines, assist patients with range of motion, and draw blood.

Qualifications

Job Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support

Preferred Job Requirements


  • Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy
  • Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification or currently enrolled in nursing school
  • Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
