Estimated Appointment End Date (Continuous if Blank) Full/Part-Time Full time Job Type Regular Compensation Salary starting at $63,000 Job Description The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) is seeking two full-time Complaint Investigator I or II positions.
These are state positions governed by the Civil Service Rules, in state government located in the northern region of Oklahoma.

The annual salary for these positions starts at $63,000 based on education and experience.

If this sounds like a challenge you are willing to take on, we look forward to reviewing your application! Basic Purpose The Complaint Investigator position works in the Office of Investigations and Enforcement (OIE) under the Investigations Unit.
This position works in assigned areas of responsibility, projects, and programs on a consistent basis to ensure commercial entities are operating within guidelines set by state law and OMMA regulations.
Additionally, this position aids with investigations of violations governing ownership of OMMA commercial licensees.
Typical Functions Level I Conducts investigations and inspections at commercial licensee locations which could potentially have elevated risks with assistance from OMMA Enforcement Agents.
Conducts follow-up inspections and surveys to determine if corrective actions have been taken or if they are necessary.
Provides analysis of compliance data and other technical information collected, identifies potential issues, and makes recommendations to OIE leadership based on the analysis.
Testifies in hearings for court cases and assists legal staff in preparation for them.
Other duties as assigned.
Level II Conducts investigations and inspections at commercial licensee locations which could potentially have elevated risks with assistance from OMMA Enforcement Agents.
Investigates commercial complaints, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to the appropriate OMMA divisions and completes the required documentation.
Conducts follow-up investigations to determine if corrective actions have been taken or if they are necessary.
Provides analysis of compliance data and other technical information collected, identifies potential issues, and makes recommendations to OIE leadership based on the analysis.
Investigates and documents licensee's non-compliance to rules and provides reconciliation for documents and inventory.
Testifies in hearings for court cases and assists legal staff in preparation for them.
Responds to division related inquiries from the public.
Ensures notices and case files are organized and other final actions are completed and reported accurately in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Level I Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of accredited college and professional experience.
Level II Bachelor's degree in related field and two years of investigation or inspection experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements Applicants must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license at the time of appointment.
Have and maintain physical and mental stamina to perform the work.
Possess a willingness to accept the physical discomforts and/or dangers inherent in the work.
Be willing to travel and occasionally be away from home for multiple consecutive nights.
Selected applicants must pass a rigid character and background investigation that may include a polygraph examination and a drug screening.
Conducts professional education to various professionals and groups related to the OMMA mission.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies Knowledge of the methods of organization and management; of public administration; of agency policies and procedures.
Knowledge of state statute and administrative rules affecting the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana; of the legislative process; of federal and state laws and regulations relating to the administration of assigned programs.
Ability is required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; to establish and develop training programs; exercise good judgement in analyzing situations and making decisions; and to organize and present facts and opinions.
Skilled in using computers to organize data and generating reports.
Physical Demands and Work Environment This position requires both field and office work.
Work performed in an office will primarily be in a climate-controlled setting with exposure to moderate noise levels.
This position requires long periods of sitting and daily computer and phone use.
While performing the duties of the job, employee is required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Physical exertion is generally required in support of critical job functions in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Occasionally, work in extreme climates may be required.
In-state travel is required, and applicants must be willing to perform all job-related travel associated with this position.
Must be able to drive for extended hours when necessary.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
