Employee The Crop IT intern will participate in IT projects that support the successful delivery of software solutions supporting various crop insurance roles at NAU Country Insurance.
Our intern will contribute by helping to:
Identify requirements Test solutions Provide project planning and coordination.
Primary Responsibilities Participate in software solution projects as a business analyst, quality assurance analyst, or provide support to the project management team Collaborate with the business and IT teams to identify process improvements or system changes necessary to be efficient Provide excellent customer service to your stakeholders and fellow team members Develop and implement performance and developmental coaching plans with the support of your manager Implementation, monitoring and follow up of effective profit improvement plans for assigned territory Build relationships with immediate and broader QBE team Required Qualifications Completion of High School Diploma/GED Full-time current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Project Mangement, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or something similar Must be returning to college/university upon completion of internship Course work or relevant experience with demonstrated achievements Ability to work from June 3 rd , 2024 to August 9 th , 2024 Preferred Competencies/Skills Follow established guidelines to focus on details and complete tasks attentively and thoroughly Communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner Understand customer needs and goals actively look for ways to meet them Multi-task and handle competing priorities Escalate issues when necessary Show drive and initiative Be a willing, effective, and efficient learner Professional, polished, poised and positive demeanor Demonstrated interest in enhancing knowledge; seeks opportunities to learn and grow Use multiple resources to gather and review information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems Preferred Knowledge Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook Principles and processes for providing customer service Terminology, function and fundamental capabilities of common Compter, software, information and communication technology devices, components, and concepts Knowledge about any programming tools like C, Java, C++, Python, R and/or database is a plus About QBEWe can never really predict what's around the corner, but at QBE we're asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future by helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
