Summary:
Responsible for performing a range of account entry and reconciliation activities to provide support to the company's accounting and financial reporting functions.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other billing statements.
Responsible for coding and entering invoices for payment.
Responsible for check printing/ACH for payment.
Prepares web desk tickets for scanning general ledger journal entries and index document retrieval.
Assists in the preparing monthly A/P reports for scanning and indexing for document storage and retrieval.
Assists as a back-up in preparing and sending files and submit to the bank for payments.
Responsible for reviewing employee expense reports and issuing checks including coding, entering and distribution.
Responsible for the preparation invoices and supporting documentation for scanning.
Assists in balancing all inter-company accounts and A/P sub ledger to the general ledger.
Responsible for maintaining W-9 files and assists in the preparation of 1099's.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time.
Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
Ability to interact with personnel at all levels in the company and with outside vendors.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
1 to 3 years of previous experience in accounting required.
