Application Engineer
Ensuring Chart's SuccessSales Application Engineers represent the interface between the company and our clients.
They engage directly with Chart's customers to help identify and define solutions.
The Sales Application Engineers understand the technical products and solutions provided by Chart and can articulate them into a compelling value proposition.
They develop long term relationships with our clients.
Sales Application Engineers meet design specifications, while maximizing the technology available to create competitive, complete, and successful sales proposals that can be administered profitably through the organization.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be Analyzes RFQ/RFP's and coordinate with client representative to determine best design approach.
Reviews Projects Specifications and identifies scope for Rating and Estimating.
Evaluates designs for most cost-effective means of fabrication.
Prepares/reviews cost estimates and suggests methods of cost cutting.
Expedites information from client in a timely fashion to maintain proposal schedule.
Develops proposal pulling together rating, estimates, technical and commercial clarifications.
Checks work for adherence to company standards of excellence and compliance with client's requirements.
Advises client of the most technically feasible approach to achieving project goals and influences client's decision such that it is consistent with overall good engineering and manufacturing practices.
Ensures timely submittal of proposals.
Your Education Should BeMinimum Education:

in Engineering, preferred or equivalent experienceMinimum
Experience:
3-5 years Engineering, Design or ManufacturingYour Physical Work Environment Will Require Indoor/Office Environment Limited Shop Exposure Your Professional Experience Should Be Possess excellent written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong working knowledge of all Industry Codes and Standards pertaining to design and fabrication of ACHES.
