SDU is a fast-paced Med/Surg unit powered by our purpose of caring for people - our patients, their families and one another.
The Step-Down Unit provides an intermediate level of care for a variety of medical surgical patients that may not meet the need for a higher-level Intensive Care Unit but are not quite ready for the floor many still being ventilator/trach dependent.
Our SDU practices teamwork and the employees are always willing to support each other.

The successful candidate will be able to:
Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care Collect patient's health data Analyze assessment data in determining patient problems Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient Develop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes Implement interventions identified in the plan of care Evaluate patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplines Delegate task to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing Conduct discharge planning, assisting the patient/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, injury prevention Maintain confidentiality with all information Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications What You'll Bring Valid RN Oklahoma license Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Associates degree minimum Must have a passion for excellence BLS - Basic Life Support Must demonstrate excellent English grammar and writing skills Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility Good interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions Be able to analyze and make sound decisions under stressful situations Remain flexible, organized, professional Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Nursing Communication Confidentiality Customer Service Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
