IT Infrastructure Manager

GDH has partnered with an enterprise company who is actively in search of an IT Infrastructure Manager.
This person will be responsible for ensuring the right skill sets and manpower are available to engineer and support the needs of the organization regarding servers, network, storage, security, client, and other devices or services across IT Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
o Effectively manage direct-report employees.
o Develop employees and help each grow to full potential in his/her respective job.
o Ensure employees receive the training necessary to be successful in their position.
o Praise, reprimand, and counsel employees appropriately.
o Ensure the right people are in the right jobs.
o Establish rapport with all direct-report employees and be available for counseling (career, problems, questions, etc.
).
o Maintain employee records according to company policy.
o Update and adhere to all policies and procedures concerning management practices and/or mandated regulations and laws.
o Ensure direct-report employees adhere to all policies and procedures, operating practices and /or mandated regulations and laws.
o Ensure that all management treatment of direct-report employees is fair and consistent.
o Promote personnel efficiency, production, and scheduling cost effectively.
o Develop and execute a tactical plan with your employees to support the strategic plan and key initiatives.
o Supervises direct report, contract, and 3rd party infrastructure engineering staff to ensure they are assigned to and working on the right work, following all dept.
standards and procedures and reference architecture, creating the required documentation, and efficiently delivering quality solutions in a timely manner to the organization.
o Responsible for hiring or acquiring the right talent to meet needs, internal and/or external.
o Manage a Skill Matrix to know what skills are needed and who is trained in them o Balance work demand and assign resources to product, problem, project and risk work.
Negotiate schedules and priorities with other management staff where conflicts exist.
o Be accountable for infrastructure's overall delivery of services, including quality and speed.
o Perform the role of Project Delegate as requested, by following the PMO roles and responsibilities.
o Communicate effectively when commitments are being impacted due to team members, owners and/or delegates being unavailable.
o Prepares regular reports for IT Leadership team to provide insight into:
o Work types split per sprint and yearly roll up o Estimation Accuracy o Accuracy and Output levels of Individual Resources per sprint o Build relationships with necessary vendors to promote appropriate service and training of tools and systems to support the organization.
o Maintain relationships for external engineering services where internal skill is low.
o Ensure vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time.
o Manage the engineering teams' ability to provide 3rd level support, analysis and documented resolutions for network, cyber security, and systems issues o Manage an efficient flow of tickets through Incident Management tool and incidents are resolved in a timely manner.
o Effectively communicate the status of incidents, problems and resolutions to stakeholders and customers.
o Identify trends in escalated incidents and notify Enterprise Architecture of trends.
Required
Experience:
5
years' experience in supervisory (managing/leading) experience leading technology teams, or equivalent.
8
years' experience in Information Technology involved in different facets of enterprise technology - software development, systems infrastructure, networking, cyber security, project management.
Familiar with all aspects of managing information technology projects - analysis, design, and implementation procedures in an enterprise level environment.
Familiarity with the principles of design thinking and SCRUM methodology.
Required skills:
Competent in multiple enterprise technologies.
Incumbent should have excellent written and oral communications skills.
Must have demonstrated People leadership and motivational skills.
Able to train various groups on functions of a complex system.
The individual must combine technical hands-on skills and human resources ability.
The incumbent should have excellent understanding of current technologies and should be able to do evaluation, analysis, and provide feedbacks of large, complex projects.
Must be self-motivated and able to act independently once assignments are made.
Able to set own priorities as well as the priorities of the group.
Requires ability to understand the business practices, principals, and values.
On call 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
