Job DescriptionSUMMARYApply accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with the chart of accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncludes the following:
Reviews the accounts in accordance with the chart of accounts.
Reviews daily invoice batches from Accounts payable.
Reviews MSRs from Inventory.
Reviews requisitions.
Works with Purchasing, Requisitions, and Accounts Payable to improve expense coding mistakes.
Educates users of common mistakes, prepare/enter journal entries, suggest process improvements, and meet deadlines.
Reviews all financial reports to makes sure all expenses are recorded.
Works with management on variance reports.
Assists Finance with budget questions.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITYRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of tasks, and work under general supervision.
Manages multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in accounting or related field and 0-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and organization skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced attention to detail and self-motivation.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in Finance/Accounting.
Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
