Shop Build-up
This is an entry working level where a candidate is required to perform assembly and disassembly of pipeline cleaning and/or inspection tools.
The candidate will have the basic capability to read and understand drawings specifications and work instructions to determine the dimensions and tolerances of a finished assembly, the sequence of operations, and set up requirements.
Employees at this level work under general supervision on repetitive tasks while new assignments receive more detailed instruction.
Work assignments are subject to general review while in progress and a more thorough review upon competition.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and able to work with tools and machinery.
Candidates will be regularly required to work near moving mechanical parts.
Wear safety glasses (ANSI Z87 compliant) in all manufacturing areas and fully enclosed shoes of solid, leather construction with a steel or composite toe cap (ANSI Z41 compliant) must be worn.
Roles and Responsibilities Build-up and break down specialized pipeline cleaning equipment.
Take instruction, ask questions, and work well with others.
Follow all safety training and procedures.
Qualifications / Requirements Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Ability to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time.
Learn in a hands-on environment.
Work in a faced paced environment.
Basic capability to read and understand drawings.
Required Education and/or Experience Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to work a band saw.
Ability to work a hand grinder.

or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities a plus.
General and Physical Requirements Lifting, standing, kneeling, crouching, and use of both hands and arms are required for this position.
Finger and Hand Dexterity Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test, as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Attendance is an essential function of the position.
Punctuality is an essential function of the position.
Work overtime as necessary.
