Job Description:
As a Certified Medication Assistant, the primary purpose is to assist in the administering of medications to residents under the direction of the attending physican, Charge Nurse/ Nurse supervisor, and the Director of Nursing work directly with CMA's.

A Weekend doubles & 3p-11p shifts available.
Duties and Responsibilites:
Follow the policies and procedures of the facility governing the administration of medications to the residents.
Report errors in the administration of medications; complete medication adminisration error report as apporopriate.
Accurately and safely prepare and administer medications that are ordered by a licensed practitioner.
Record and restock medication inventories, process discontinued medication as directed by the Director of Nursing in accordance with facility policies.
As a medication aide, you must be familiar with common medical abbreviations, symbols and terms relative to the administration of medications as used by the facility, pharmacists, and physicans.
Notifies the appropriate staff when a resident complains of pain.
CMA's must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Education Requirements:
Must be a licensed Certified Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examinations in accordance with the State of Oklahoma.
Recommended Skills Administration Nursing Medications Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
