Technical Specialist

Job DescriptionCN3S is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Technical Specialists to provide support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in their efforts to enhance emergency response and recovery capabilities.
In this role, you will work closely with citizens, first responders, and FEMA to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all emergency hazards.
The primary focus will be on the design and construction of public infrastructure.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Technical Specialist:
$98,000 - $118,000Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.
Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Technical Specialist Responsibilities Include:
Ideal background includes technical experience in the design and/or construction of public infrastructure.
Required skill types and experience include:
engineers, architects, cost estimators, and construction inspectors/managers.
Travel required to remote locations for long-term project work.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned Technical Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in a related field of study.
Must have over 4 years of related experience.
FEMA Public Assistance (PA) or Consolidated Resource Center (CRC) experience is preferred.
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software in particular MS Word , MS Excel , and MS Access .
Must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly in English, and able to read and write effectively in English.
Must be capable of working independently or as a team as circumstances dictate.
Must possess and maintain a driver's license.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
