ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do The Stationary Engineer is responsible for performing complex preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs and installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on equipmentMonitor, operate, and provide routine maintenance to HVAC, Emergency Diesel Generators, Boilers, Pumps, Chillers, Cooling Towers and other equipmentPerform daily inspection of power plant systemsComplete work orders for a variety of structure and equipment repairsOrder necessary materials for repair completionComplete all necessary paperwork upon finalization of work orderOversee and inspect the work of outside contractorsDevelop competence and knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and equipment maintenanceMay be the only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require on call dutiesComply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and facility directives related to building operations and work safety QualificationsWhat You'll Bring City of Tulsa First Class Unlimited requiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid Oklahoma driver's license requiredMust have a passion for excellence Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations Demonstrate maturity and accountability What We Offer Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k with Company match Company paid basic life insurance and long term disability coverage Generous paid time off, including an additional extended illness bank Tuition Reimbursement Advancement and career development opportunities Recommended Skills Preventive Maintenance Pumps Production Equipment Controls Boilers Building Automation Mechanical Systems Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
