Senior Construction Estimator
Job Description Job Description Full Job Description Construction Estimator - 3 years experience required Position:
Construction Estimator The Construction Estimator inspects properties damaged by events such as fires and floods, and prepares estimates to repair them.
He or she works with the insurance adjuster and property owner to obtain agreement on the scope and cost of repairs.
Once the estimate is approved and the property owner signs a work authorization, the Estimator assigns the project to a Construction Workerager, follows up to ensure the work is performed properly, and collects on the job.
Compensation and
Benefits:
Salary plus bonus ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 based on projects sold and completed, while achieving required gross margins Company vehicle and cell phone Simple IRA, medical insurance, paid time off and sick days One on One mentoring Requirements Three years of construction estimating experience Prior experience with Xactimate required Strong time management and organizational skills Track record of increasing responsibility, industry learning and continuing education Attention to detail Excellent communications and presentation skills Role on the Team (Job Functions) Develop relationships with adjusters and property owners Meet operational objectives of Sales, Gross Margin, Brand Experience Weekly project review meetings Participate in community events Required Skills Energetic and likes variety while handling multiple tasks A problem solver who likes being in control of your own destiny Optimistic with a naturally persuasive style Effectively schedules ahead while maintaining flexibility Empathizes with customer concerns while maintaining control of the project Succinct and professional written communications Before You Can Take the Field We require a drug test and background check The physical environment includes all types of indoor and outdoor conditions Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment Physical Requirements:
must be able to stand and walk, occasional bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds
